Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions


1.1 "Carer" refers to the individual accompanying the child to the group.


1.2 "Group" refers to the Little Tales group.


1.3 "Child" refers to the participant attending the group.


1.4 "Enrollment Form" refers to the form completed during the enrollment process.


1.5 "Fee" refers to the cost of the group as specified during enrollment.


1.6 "Little Tales" refers to the organization providing the preschool group.


1.7 "Parent" refers to the parent or legal guardian enrolling the child.


1.8 "Venue" refers to the location where the group sessions take place.


1.9 "Terms" refers to these terms and conditions.


1.10 “Customer(s)” refers to children of parents / carers who are attending a Little Tales class.


1.11 "Lead" refers to the person hosting the class.


2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions


2.1 By enrolling the child in the Little Tales Group, the Parent acknowledges and agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.


2.2 Enrollment is considered accepted upon payment of the specified Fee.


2.3 Any changes or additions to these Terms and Conditions must be agreed upon in writing by Little Tales and the Parent.


2.4 In the event of a Parent failing to abide by these terms and conditions, a customer may be requested to discontinue with Little Tales. In this instance Little Tales will be under no obligation to provide a refund for any outstanding lessons.


3. Booking, Payment & Cancellation


3.1 Enrollment in the group can be done online or through designated methods provided by Little Tales.


3.2 The Parent is required to provide accurate and complete information in the Enrollment Form.


3.3 Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment of the Fee.


3.4 Payment for the group must be made in advance and in accordance with the payment schedule provided by Little Tales.


3.5 Cancellation by the Parent can be done by notifying Little Tales in writing, adhering to the specified notice period.


3.6 Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy.


3.7 If insufficient children are booked into your class, we reserve the right to cancel the class. In this instance we will offer you either an alternative class or online class to attend or a refund will be given for any remaining sessions after the cancellation.


3.8 In the event of cancellation by Little Tales prior to the commencement of the Course by the Pupil, Little Tales will refund any fees for outstanding classes within 30 days.


3.9 The Parent understands that sessions are ongoing and to be used consecutively. No credits or refunds will be issued for missed classes.


4. Safety and Conduct


4.1 The Parent acknowledges the responsibility to ensure that the Child is able to participate in the group activities.


4.2 The Parent or designated Carer is responsible for the supervision and conduct of the Child during group sessions.


4.3 Little Tales reserves the right to exclude a Child or Parent from group sessions for behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, or violates the safety and well-being of others.


4.4 Little Tales classes require Parent participation.


4.5 The Parent is allowed to bring siblings of the Child onto the Premises as long as long as they do not get involved in the lesson (unless the sibling enrolls into the appropriate class). The sibling is the responsibility of the Parent/Carer at all times. If the sibling needs attention that requires the Parent/Carer to leave the Premises, the Pupil must accompany the Parent/Carer and must not be left with the Lead.


4.6 Please remember that you are the responsible adult for your child when he/she is attending a Little Tales session. Responsible adults should stay within easy sight and reach of their child at all times.


4.7 Please help us start and finish sessions on time by arriving promptly for your session and taking any litter home with you when you leave. Please let the team know if you have to leave the session early for any reason; this is for emergency evacuation purposes.


5. Liability and Indemnification


5.1 Little Tales, its employees, and representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred by the Child, Parent, or Carer during group activities.


5.2 The Parent agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Little Tales, its employees, and representatives from any claims arising out of participation in the group.


5.3 If, having let us know you are unable to attend your booked class, your circumstances change and you are, in fact, able to attend the lesson, you must speak to us first. Please do not just turn up to your normal lesson as; if the lesson is full, your child will not be able to join for insurance reasons.


5.4 We do not provide, nor permit the usage of kitchen facilities at the venue, this for both insurance and health and safety purposes.


6. Health and Safety


6.1 The Parent is responsible for informing Little Tales of any relevant medical conditions or allergies the Child may have.


6.2 The Child will not be permitted to attend group sessions if exhibiting symptoms of illness, and the Parent agrees to adhere to health and safety guidelines provided by Little Tales.


6.3 Parents/Carers should provide water but no food must be eaten on the pitch to avoid the hazard of choking.


7. Photography and Privacy


7.1 To comply with our ‘Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy’ and best practice, we request that parents/carers DO NOT take photographs or videos at Little Tales sessions. Whilst our Leads will do their best to enforce a total ban on the use of photographic/film or video equipment by parents/carers at classes, due to the nature of their work and the concentration required during the delivery of sessions, we are unable to guarantee this, and your cooperation would be appreciated. From time to time Little Tales may organise class photo shoots, but only where all parental consents have been obtained.


7.2 The Parent's privacy rights and data protection are outlined in Little Tales' Privacy Policy.


8. Amendments and Communication


8.1 Little Tales reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and will communicate changes to Parents in a timely manner.


8.2 Communication between Little Tales and Parents will primarily be conducted via the contact details provided during enrollment.


9. Governing Law


9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
